Self-Drive Requirements

If you choose the self-drive option, the standard rental terms apply. Drivers must be at least 21, or 25 for certain vehicles, with a valid license and full-coverage insurance in the same name that stays active until at least 7 days after the return. One additional driver is allowed if they are named on the contract and sign it. A security deposit is held from 1 day before until 7 days after the rental, and you need $5,000 available on your card or account. If you pay with a debit card, the deposit is provided in cash. House Rules for the Cabin

The van has a bar, but the vehicle rules still apply. Smoking of any sort forfeits the entire deposit, and the vehicle should come back clean inside and out to avoid a cleaning fee of at least $60. For self-drive rentals, use 91 octane or higher fuel and return the van with the same fuel level or more. Keeping these in mind protects your deposit and keeps the night easy.
